I've used Quicken for many years, both PC and Mac versions. I'm currently using Mac 2007. I'm not very happy with the situation that I find myself in where I can't access my accounts before I jump through several aggravating hoops that don't seem to be working!

I have Quicken 2006 on my iMac with OS 10.5.8.

If I update to Snow Leopard, will Quicken 2006 run normally? (Currently, I only run Quicken as a checkbook program with category sorts for my tax accountant.)

Or, will I have to buy a new version, or look elsewhere?

Greg: Actually, I got notification two ways:

	- When I used One Step Update to download transactions, there was a note in the results window.
	- When I used the Check for Updates command under the Quicken 2007 menu it told me about the update.

I'm hoping that the next version of Quicken will automatically check for, download, and install updates (when an option to do so is enabled). Much of my other software does this and it's extremely convenient.

Yep, I discovered this today. The only way I figured it out was to Google the error message. Annoying.
