I think Apple’s doing the right thing here. But I also hope the early adopters learned a lesson. Hell, many of these people WAITED ON LINE to spend $200 more than they could have by waiting. On Apple Insider.

According to Software Update:
This update addresses issues with keyboard interface reliability for Apple’s professional applications and is recommended for all users of Final Cut Studio.
This update notice was probably triggered on my system because I have Final Cut Express HD installed, so it must apply to that as well.

Tell us which iPod you’d buy.
On Wednesday, Steve Jobs announced four new iPod models, available in plenty of time for the holidays. They range from a restyling of the very basic iPod Shuffle to an improved iPod Nano to a renamed, increased capacity iPod Classic to a wifi-enabled, browser equipped iPod Touch.
