After months of use, the trackball of my mighty mouse started acting funny, and i was going to replace the mouse when i stumble on a tip that allowed me to clean it in an instant. The mouse has been back to work and trouble-free up to now. Anyway, the whole trackball cleaning is SO easy:

All you need is… a sheet of white paper. Unplug the mouse, turn it over, and roll the trackball over the paper sheet while pressing firmly. This will dislodge all the gooey stuff now visible on the piece of paper. Et voilà , plug back in! Too easy.

I often have a problem with left clicking, where it is recognized as a right click. I have to reposition my hand, old mousing habits die hard. I like the side buttons, I have them set as Application Switcher. Also use the scroll ball as button 3 and in Exposé I have it set to show the Desktop with Mouse Button 3. Very versatile...

I subscribe to your feed and I had a "what a co-inky-dink" moment today because I'm going to be publishing my thoughts on the wireless Mighty Mouse day-after-tomorrow! Can't say I agree on every point (mainly because I'm not a long-time Mac user) but I couldn't agree more on the side squeezing. It's horrible. I actually have a normal mouse plugged in half the time because I have to use it for gaming and I forget to switch it out for the MM when I'm done!

Completely agree on the side buttons. I find I have to squeeze too hard to get any tactile (or operational) response. Other than that, I love it - thanks for your original post on the subject.
