WordPress as a CMS: Table of Contents

Making it a bit easier to find the articles.

I decided to put together a quick table of contents for my 7-part series about using WordPress as a CMS. This should make it a bit easier for readers to find and read the related articles in the order in which they were written.

Heres the list:

I refer to this series in quite a few other pieces here.

Hello! This looks like exactly what I’m looking for but all these links seem to be broken :(

Michael´s last blog post: Phone Number

You’re right! They were. I just fixed them. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. After all, what’s the use of a Table of Contents if none of the links work?

In following the information in these posts, however, remember that it was written for a previous version of WordPress. WordPress 2.7 incorporates some of the features — sticky posts comes to mind — that were previously available only with plugins.

Thanks, you’re awesome! To be honest though I already went through your posts one by one to find all the ones linked here, I couldn’t wait!

Oh no! This is also exactly what I’m looking for, but the links seem to be broken again! This is truly a depressing turn of events!

Struck down by copy-and-paste! I fixed the links, but I “fixed” them incorrectly. Now I’ve not only fixed the links in this page, but added a table of contents to each post in the article series. Thanks for pointing out this problem! Accept my apologies (again) for messing it up.

There they are! Thanks so much! What a great series of articles — I appreciate you posting these!

Thanks very much. I’m afraid they’re a bit dated these days, but they should still work.

Since writing these, I’ve put together another CMS with WordPress. You can check it out at http://www.FlyingMProductions.com/. It has a few features the Flying M Air site, which is in serious need of updating, doesn’t have.
