But iMovie is kind of cool -- you can use it to make QuickTime slide shows of your iPhoto shots using effects to add motion. I&#039;m not sure how much you want to do that, though. I admit that I don&#039;t do it very often.

I agree that GarageBand and iDVD have limited use for the average Mac OS user. I don&#039;t think I&#039;ve spent more than 30 minutes with iDVD (I just don&#039;t have TIME to make DVDs) and only just began using GarageBand for podcasting.

Apple should break up the iLife package and offer the apps individually for $39 each (or something like that). That would make iLike (the package) a good deal while making it possible for the folks who don&#039;t want all that stuff to get just the app they want and save a few bucks.</description>
