I have just purchased QuickBooks Pro 4.0 for the Mac on eBay. It’s the only version that will run on my Mac, and I bought it because I have to learn how to use QB, since I’m looking for an Administrative job.
Is there still a Visual Quickstart book available for this version of QB? I haven’t seen it anywhere. Please advise.

No, there is no QuickBooks 4 for Mac QuickStart Guide. The last edition was for QuickBooks 2006; I don’t think we did one for QuickBooks 4 at all.
