Have a question about something in one of my QuickBooks Visual QuickStart Guides? Here’s how to get the answer:
- Browse through the comments at the end of this article to see if someone else has already asked your question. You might get the answer without even asking!
- If your question is not asked (or answered), use the Leave a Comment form at the bottom of this post to enter your question. (If the form does not appear, click the Comment link below to display it.)
- Check in once in a while to see if your question is answered. I usually answer questions within 48 hours, unless I’m out of town. To have responses to your question delivered to you automatically by e-mail, along with other Q & A comments submitted for this book, turn on the Notify Me check box at the bottom of the form when submitting your question (step 2). You can unsubscribe to the notification feature at any time.
Please do not use the Contact form to ask me questions. I won’t answer them. I want the questions and answers here, where everyone can see them, so I don’t have to answer the same questions over and over again.
Remember, I can only answer questions that clarify or correct information in my books. If the answer to your question is in my book, I will provide a page number reference to help you find it.
I cannot answer questions about Quicken for Macintosh or Windows. I no longer provide support for my Quicken books on this site.

The Quicken 2007 book makes references to Wintel PCs but not to Mac PCs.
Can I assume all the feaures and instructions in this book also apply to my Mac with OS 10?

My Quicken 2007 book (which I do not support on this Web site) does NOT cover the Mac OS X version of Quicken. The two versions are quite different.

Will the 2006 version of Quicken for MAC provide adequate information for the Quicken 2007 version?

I have not written a Quicken 2006 or Quicken 2007 book for Macintosh. You must be thinking of another author’s book.

If you’re asking about QuickBooks, which is what this Q&A is for, I have no idea. I did not write the QuickBooks Official Guide.
If you’re asking about Quicken, which is not supported on this site, Quicken 2008 Official Guide covers some but not all of the Home and Business Product features.

I am closing comments on this topic, as my QuickBooks Visual QuickStart Guide, which was last revised for the 2006 version, is now out of print. I do not support my Quicken books anywhere on this Web site. For support, go to the McGraw-Hill Professional Web site.
